Great Clips Social (old stuff)

A series of different social projects that were created while working on the brand.

Snapchat ad

To cut through Snapchat’s clutter, we cut to black, turning people’s phones into makeshift mirrors and prompting them to get a haircut.
Copy directed attention to their hair, prompting them to swipe up to easily check in online.

Results: 22% increase in Online Check-Ins // Swipe-up rates 4x Snapchat’s success benchmark
Awards: Webby Honoree, Silver at The Show 2019,  Digiday Best Use of Snapchat Finalist, Silver at regional Addy’s

 

Monster Jam Lens

We put fans behind the wheel of the Great Clips monster truck, allowing them to see themselves in full gear plus a first-person POV from inside the truck. We also included engine idle sounds and tapping to rev up.

 

Instagram Post

We created a swipe-able “hairousel” to remind people it’s time to get a fresh cut for fall.

 

Snapchat Ad

To show before/after photos in a whole new way, we replicated the familiar “refreshing” interface to encourage Snapchat users to refresh their style. A quick swipe up let them check in online right then and there.
